David Conrad was born and raised in Greensboro, NC, and grew up in a family business founded by his parents - Libby Hill Seafood Restaurants. He attended EastCarolinaUniversity and graduated with a BA in Business Administration. Upon graduation, David went to work in the family business and enjoyed many successful years directing the company's operations. He left the business in 1993, and went into business brokerage, becoming an agent for VR business brokerage in Greensboro, NC. Soon he rose to the top, becoming Broker-In-Charge, and receiving VR's highest award - the Diamond award - for the highest sales volume in VR's entire franchise..

In early 2002, David went out on his own, and founded Triad Business Brokerage, in Greensboro. Within one year, TBB was the number one business brokerage in the area. In 2004, David was approached by a friend, and sold Triad Business Brokerage to him. In 2005, David moved full-time to his vacation home on Beech Mountain, NC, and opened a new business brokerage - Blue Ridge Business Brokerage - to serve the High Country Area - Watauga, Avery, Ashe and Wilkes Counties.

2006 - our first full year in business - was a great one for us …. We work hard and it shows ….. we average selling over a business a month – we sold seventeen in 2008!   And late last year, David and partners opened Grand Coastal Business Brokerage in Myrtle Beach, SC.  So no matter which end of NC you are on, we can help you!

 In late 2006, David was joined by a remarkable business broker - Brandy Illich.  Brandy was a successful mortgage broker prior to joining the firm, has her masters in International Business, and brings a load of talent to Blue Ridge Business Brokerage!
